TABLAY - Katrina F. Olan {Review}

"Zeros and ones. I think of the monitors. In life, there is only death and survival. Today, I refuse to be a zero."

I'm going to start this off by saying that mech (and scifi in general) is not my usual cup of tea but for some reason, I got really hooked when I first learned of Tablay during Komiket (which I wasn't able to attend huhu)

Bulk of it may be because of my natural inclination towards mythology - especially that of the Philippines. Plus, it's always refreshing to discover new local writers! Particularly someone who is so hands-on (I mean, have you seen the marketing for this book?! More on that later!)

That's why when I discovered the online purchase form of Tablay (you can check it here and order yours today!), I ordered mine immediately.

And boy, reading it during #BuwanNgMgaAkdangPinoy - specifically for #Wikathon and #RCReadathon2020 Pinoy Creators Edition Bingo was such a good decision! Word vomit Thoughts below :)

*Spoilers ahead! Will be hidden (drag-select to view) but proceed with caution!

WARM BODIES Series - Isaac Marion {Review}

Add the books at Goodreads!
Disclaimer: Not exactly a "comeback post" I've been meaning to do for a while now but I just really needed a space to air out all the feelings so here we are.

I realized that despite being a fan for the longest time, I’ve never really been able to properly put my thoughts and feelings into words. Attempting again this time, I understand that it’s because it’s so hard to words!! And now, even though it is way overdue (for more than a year!), I really tried to word vomit everything and it’s sinking in that R and Julie’s and the rest of the gang’s adventure is really over AND I AM EMOTIONAL.

No regrets (except maybe not being able to get my hand on Soul Vomit super special signed copies bc I was a broke young lady straddling the line between graduating college and adult responsibility things that come after that)

So here's my version of my own soul-vomit about most things I kept tucked in the corners of my brain (and occasionally over at Twitter and Instagram) Here we go.
